PSNS to hire more than 1,000 helper trainees: Staffing shortfalls could hamper work

The Kitsap Sun  – Ed Friedrich BREMERTON — Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility announced Thursday it will hire 1,073 helper trainees in all trades. The job announcement will be posted at www.usajobs.gov Monday morning and taken down Wednesday night, said shipyard spokeswoman Mary Ann Mascianica. Starting pay is $15.11 an hour.
