January 5, 2007 -
Public scoping for the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal Project began November 20, 2006 and will conclude January 12, 2007. Scoping is held early in the life of a project and helps determine the “scope” of issues and alternatives to be studied in the environmental review document. During this period project materials are available for public review and comment. As part of scoping, WSF hosted a public meeting in Poulsbo on December 6, and aboard the ferry and at the Bainbridge Terminal on December 7. Thanks to everyone who attended the meetings or submitted written comments. For those who have not yet participated, the window for comment is open through January 12.
