Olympic College (OC) is a public two-year community college that educates more than 13,000 students a year. Founded in 1946, the college has three campuses in Bremerton, Poulsbo, and Shelton and serves a population of 280,000 residents living in Kitsap and Mason Counties.

Degrees and Certificates

Olympic College helps students build skills for the next phase of their life or career through its numerous educational options. In addition, OC offers courses to update job skills, get job training, or simply as personal enrichment. OC offers numerous high demand programs including aerospace and advanced manufacturing, IT, business, healthcare, and industrial trades. Additionally, OC offers baccalaureate degrees in nursing, engineering (with Washington State University), and business (with Western Washington University).  Click here for Olympic College Facts and Figures Brochure.

WWU partners with Olympic College to provide the opportunity for residents to complete their higher education goals in Kitsap County at convenient locations and considerable cost savings. Western Washington University on the Peninsulas (Poulsbo) offers the same high quality instruction and rigorous academic standards as the WWU-Bellingham campus.   Degree programs available locally include: Business Administration, Computer and Information Systems Security (Cybersecurity), Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, Environmental Policy, Environmental Science, Human Services, and Multidisciplinary Studies. WWU on the Peninsulas also offers an array of non-credit learning opportunities for all people of ages; formal admission to the university is not required.

Brandman University, a part of the Chapman University System, is a private, nonprofit institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) with programs offered both onsite and online. Bachelor, Masters, and Doctorate degrees for working adults are available for both civilian and military. Personalized advising, and small class sizes leads to over a 70% graduation rate. Brandman University offers classes online or on-campus with over 50 programs to choose from. Brandman’s  Silverdale campus offers a variety of degree programs for members of the military and civilians.

Northwest College of Art & Design (NCAD) offers degree programs in the in-demand visual arts careers including; Entertainment Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Motion Design and Photography.
