Community & Company Cooperation to Serve Millions of New Customers
The Kitsap Economic Development Council coordinated a community-employer effort to locate a new call center here. Five hundred new primary customer service jobs were created to help serve millions of new customers. Using their own resources, community and state agencies recruited and tested more than 2,100 job applicants in three months.
