KEDA’s Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is part of the Washington State PTAC. We provide FREE and confidential business assistance and support to regional businesses in marketing and selling to federal, state and local government agencies and prime contractors. Our service area covers 5 counties: Kitsap, Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson and Mason.

Contracting with the federal government is a vastly different, and generally more complex, experience than vendors and service providers generally encounter when contracting with private business organizations.  Ironically, the extensive regulations and policies that can make this process so cumbersome to small businesses were actually established to benefit, guide, and protect them. KEDA hosts a monthly Contracting Coffee Hour – an open forum for businesses with questions about contracting with the government, on the first Wednesday of each month. This is your opportunity to meet with  contracting experts, network with other contractors,  discuss common issues/problems, get your contracting questions answered, and identify support services available for contractors.

Retired Government Contracting Officers, Mona Carlson and Mary Jo Juarez will host the event and over the next few months bring in a variety of former government contracting subject matter experts, as well as Small Business Liaisons, and large business representatives who are looking for subcontracting opportunities, and offer support the contracting community.
