Port of Tacoma – Benefit Broker The Port of Tacoma (Port) and Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) are soliciting proposals from firms interested in providing benefit broker services for the Port and NWSA benefit plans. The Port is seeking the contract to begin January 1, 2018 for five (5) years with two one year options, at the sole discretion of the Port, for a possible total of seven (7) years.
City of Kirkland – Art Concept The City of Kirkland is seeking qualified artists or artist teams to develop concepts for artwork using salvaged pieces of the historic Kalakala Ferry and to present the concepts to the public with visuals including drawing, videos or 3-D machettes. Up to four artists will be selected to develop concepts. These concepts will be reviewed by the public and other stakeholders through a public outreach process. With input from the public and other stakeholders, the Kalakala Committee and Cultural Arts Commission will make a recommendation to City Council.
City of Kirkland –Art for Park Capital Projects The City of Kirkland is seeking a qualified artist to create art for three Kirkland parks in conjunction with scheduled or completed park capital improvements. The Art Committee, consisting of representatives from the Park Board and Cultural Arts Commission, has determined that due to the limited art budget for each park, one artist shall be hired to design, fabrication and install art. There is a total design, fabrication and installation cost for the three parks of $45,000.
