Vendor refresh begins May 9 and will end July 1.
To keep your account active and receive notifications of solicitation opportunities, you will need to log into your WEBS account and update the following three items by July 1, 2017.
1. The first item you must update: Small Business Status (located under “vendor profile”) – you need to select the appropriate status and attest the information selected is correct.
Note: Vendor profiles can only be updated by the administrative user on your WEBS account. If you do not know who the account administrator is for your organization, call the WEBS customer line at (360) 902-7400 and they will provide that information.
2. Second item to update: Vendor Contact Information and Profile – If any changes have occurred, please update this information
3. Third item to update: Commodity Codes – Add or remove commodity codes associated to your registered account.
What happens if I do not update this information?
If you do not update your account by July 1, 2017, your account will be given an “inactive” status in WEBS. This means you will no longer receive notification of solicitation opportunities posted in WEBS.
Why is this happening?
WEBS currently contains approximately 42,000 registered vendors. Many of these accounts do not have current information, causing undeliverable notifications when customers select commodity codes for solicitation opportunities.
This update will result in a more accurate number of vendors receiving notification opportunities for the specific commodity codes for their respective industries. This will also allow vendors the opportunity to opt out of the notification system if they so choose.
If you are unable to log into WEBS and need to reset your password, use the “Forgot my password” option. Enter your email address and you will be sent a temporary password. Copy and paste the temporary password into log-in box. The system will prompt you to change your password. You will be asked to enter your current temporary password. All temporary passwords are eight characters. When you copy and paste the temporary password, please ensure there are eight characters.
