NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Kitsap Transit (KT) at Kitsap Transit’s Main Administration Office, Reception desk NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. May 24, 2017 and must be addressed as:

Late bids will be rejected.  Bids may be received by mail, courier or hand-delivered.  Fax or emailed bids will NOT be accepted. The Work, to be performed within 90 working days from the date of Notice to Proceed, consists of installing a second fuel tank system at the Bremerton Transportation Center, shore side from the Passenger-Only Ferry (POF) Dock located at 10 Washington Ave, Bremerton, WA 98337. The system will incorporate a 5200 gallon tank with secondary containment, new fuel piping, mechanical pump and fuel monitoring.

Plans and specifications are available for viewing at the KT Administration office or http://www.kitsaptransit.com/agency-information/procurement. It is recommended that Bidders notify Patrick Rogers of their intent to submit a Bid and register with KT’s Planholders’ List in order to receive electronic notification of issued Addenda.

A pre-bid walk-through of the Project will be offered at 10:00 AM on May 16, 2017 at the Kitsap Transit’s Harborside Conference Room, 60 Washington Ave, Suite 200, Bremerton, WA 98337.

Kitsap Transit expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities, and to award the Project to the lowest responsive bidder.

Kitsap Transit in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
