Biz Opps: New Bid Posting City of Bremerton – HSIP Phase 2, Puget Sound Naval Safety, and Second Street ADA Projects

Sealed bids for the “HSIP Phase 2, Puget Sound Naval Safety, and Second Street ADA Projects” will be received by the City of  Bremerton  at  the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton located in Bremerton City Hall, 345 6th Street, Suite 600, Bremerton WA 98337 until 10:00 am on April 14, 2017 , and will then and there be opened and publicly read.

The description of work is as follows:

HSIP Phase 2: This effort is for various improvements at seven intersections, includes pedestrian signage, markings, installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, countdown pedestrian signals, APS push buttons, and roadway lighting.

Puget Sound Naval Safety Project: This effort includes installation of a HAWK traffic signal, concrete sidewalks, HMA parking strip, curb, gutter, ADA compliant driveway/alley approaches, curb ramps, pedestrian scale sidewalk lighting, and pedestrian hybrid beacon.

Second Street ADA Retrofit Project: This effort includes installation of one ADA compliant curb ramp, pavement markings and signage

Time for completion of these projects is 80 Working Days. If the City elects to award Bid Additive #1, an additional 5 Working Days will be added to the time for completion. The Engineer’s base estimate is approximately $1,400,000 to $1,700,000. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) mandatory goal of 19% has been established for this project. The 19% mandatory goal applies to all work on the project.
