KEDA hosts open forum/workshop on Regional Small MACC

Current Open Solicitation for NAVFAC NW for 8(a) Regional Small Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC)

The Kitsap Economic Development Alliance (KEDA) is offering an open forum/workshop to provide assistance  and networking opportunities for businesses who are interested in bidding on the current solicitation for an 8(a) NAVFAC Northwest Regional Small MACC. The solicitation closes on January 21, 2015.  The workshop will take place from 10:00 – 11:30am on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Bremerton.  Pre-registration (http://washingtonptac.org/events-workshops/)  is encouraged.

The solicitation, N44255-14-R-9022, available on FedBizOpps (www.fba.gov), is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition, and repair work by design-build or by design-bid-build of facilities located primarily within the NAVFAC NW area of responsibility including Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.  It is anticipated that most of the work will occur in Washington State. The MACC will be awarded with a base contract and four (4) one-year option periods or a NTE amount of $99 Million.  Up to six (6) contractors will be awarded a MACC under this solicitation.

KEDA’s PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center) counselor, Mary Jo Juarez,  and retired NAVFAC contracting officer, Mona Carlson, will host the event and be available to assist interested parties in understanding the Government’s requirements for proposal submittal.

This event immediately follows KEDA’s monthly PTAC Contracting Coffee Hour  which runs from 7:30 – 9:00 am  on January  7, 2015.
